At the age of 6, David Boublil already made drawings on the notebooks of his classmates. Since then, this passion for drawing and painting has always been with him.

At the age of 18, he hesitates between an artistic and an engineering career. After an engineering education, he follows the courses of an art school in Montmartre, and is initiated to sculpture and engraving at La Grande Chaumière in Paris.

He eventually decides to start his own engineering and design office that he manages for 25 years. In the same time, he continues to dedicate all his spare time to his passion for art.

There are 3 main creative periods in his work :

1. Copies inspired by masterpieces (1960's to 1990's)

From 1998 to today, he explores different techiques, ideas  and methods to form and structure his personal metaphoric style.

He has painted over 5000 artworks in his life time and has a collection of 1000 paintings on board or canvas, 2000 works on paper and a hundred sculptures that he wishes to show and share with the largest public.
