David Boublil has invested in a large variety of techniques and methods to enrich his paintings and test new effects: abstract, calligraphy, "photographism" and sculptures. All of these are combined in the metaphoric style.
1. Metaphoric style

When you look at an artwork painted by David Boublil, there is always one or more central subject(s) visible at first glance.

It is only in a second stage that the many other faces, profiles, calligraphy, sometimes only sketch figures, will be revealed. each figure merging itself in others and multiplying infinitely.
Some paintings may include so many, sometimes a few hundred, so that watching an artwork made by David Boublil becomes a true game leading to pure emotion.
